I didn't grow up in a church-going home. My first time attending church (for worship) was when I was 24, about 9 years ago. It was shortly after that first visit that I decided to commit my life to Jesus and call Him my Lord. My love of learning quickly met my love of God and I began my pursuit to understand my faith better. I was constantly asking questions of my pastors and my fellow believers. I began reading books and studying the Bible and these activities quickly became my dominant act of worship. While I've tried to add balance to my spiritual life in recent years, intellectual pursuits have remained a strong passion. 

This searching helped me find and gather information on the web for my own personal growth over the last several years so I decided I should share this with anyone else who would find it valuable. 

Besides my interests in theology, I have a general love of learning. Several years ago I received my bachelor's degree in History from California State University, Dominguez Hills and I am seriously considering returning to school for a master's degree (possibly in library and information science). I currently work in the film industry doing mostly financial reporting and technical support. My wife, son, and myself live in the Los Angeles area of California and attend a wonderful, missional church near our home.
